Families with toddlers or teens will sooner or later find their way to MenDan Magic Spa & Wellness Hotel Zalakaros, because we offer fantastic and unforgettable programs and events for every generation. The parents can relax , the children are finally not sittin gin front of the TV screen, instead they are having an excellent and creative time.
Child friendly rooms
All of our hotel rooms have a huge, averagly 30 m2 surface. So even a superior room is a spacious solution for parents with two children. Our family apartments and junior suites offer you even more: a bigger space, almost a mini flat, where even the biggest families can stay comfortably. The equipped kitchen in the apartments allows an even more comfortable relaxation, but on request we can even give you a microwave oven and kettle so you can easily heat the babyfood in the comfort of your own room. You can even leave the changing table, cot, stool, babytub, potty and everything a baby needs to travel at home, we’ll give you everything you might need.
Playroom
Our wonderful playroom is the centre of every child’s dreams. It has slides, interactive carpets, legos, puzzles, story-books, colorbooks, dolls, matchboxes, stuffed animals, board games, swings and millions of surprises that await our smallest guests.
For children above 3 the childcare is free during the openingstime of the playroom and our animation team is also waiting to entertain them.

Teen world
It is the teens who are the most difficult to entertain, they are too big for the playroom, and they spend their time most willingly in front of the computer. But dear parents, don’t worry! In MenDan no teen will be bored! First and foremost free Wifi will wait for them in the entire hotel, so the laptops should not be left home either! In the Playstation corner, beside the newest games they will find company as well, but we often throw them pizza partys or discos with alcohol-free cocktails, or even cardplaying afternoons. We invite the teens to play pool, go on trips, or ride bikes, and we also offer them movies in the movieroom.
In autumn 2014, MenDan took a bold step and turned the Coral restaurant, a major venue in the hotel scene, into a real play centre. Combining retro and modern elements, the cosy 'playground' has already become a family bonding, team-building, friendly, playful battlefield for the autumn break.
Billiard tables, foosball, a rex table, two darts and several X-box machines are at guests' service 10 hours a day - free of charge, of course.
To make the fun and games complete, hunger and thirst are quenched at The Bistro - a bar where, in addition to refreshments and cocktails, you can enjoy a wide variety of spritzers, coffee specialities and the retro fashion of greasy bread and crusty bread.
An upbeat atmosphere, long games, darts competitions, card parties, people bobbing, dancing and jumping right and left in front of the X-box screen, happy children and a camp of parents watching them with satisfaction, getting comfortable - and sometimes joining in the game - is what characterises the newly formed MenDan Funhouse.
The teens’ favourite celebrities often visit us as well! In the spa they can choose from beauty treatments, massages, gym and different kinds of sport lessons.
Water world for kids
Which child would not have fun in a 1000 m2 bath complex, where they can paddle in 7 different pools from 7AM to 10PM? We can provide water-games upon request, and with the help of our sport animators you can attend excellent programs like aqua fitness, water aerobics and other gymnastics. For our smallest guests we have a paddling-pool with a slide so they can have fun and be safe!
Childfriendly restaurant
In our restaurant we surprise you with a record-long, 33 meter-long buffet table for breakfast and dinner also. In this 33 meters you can find everything you desire, starting from our childfriendly meals (pasta, meat, sweets) to healthy meals and fruits as well. We ensure chairs and babyfood for the smallest ones, in case of a great number of children in the hotel we offer a separated child buffet and a little playing corner in the back of the restaurant.
